How about an agreement on the install timeline? Name a reasonable date and if I don't have it installed by then I have to sell it back to you at half the price you sold it to me for.

So much for that “snowstorm” everyone was freaking out about. Roads were fine and not even a delay getting to work. Hope you all have a Good Friday!

I wouldn't worry about it. Since you're gonna sell it to me anyway :twocents:

I did remove mine when I did this. Thinking that might be the issue. I'll have to lift 'er back up and pull the bolt, pull the shifter out.

More like it's supposed to sit over the plastic on the console. We'll find out! I want to get on the road and test it before snow hits in 3 hrs

Let me know what you think. I'm not fully satisfied with my TWM short throw - it's ok, but not really an improvement over stock.

Are you going to run some kind of boot?

I have been eyeing these guys, but i wouldn't be able to stand the open area around the shifter. I also haven't really seen too many people run a boot either.

Now you need to add some gauges to your cubby hole. Looks bare. :shakes head:

Rusty 01-17-2020 02:38 PM

Have the new 87 octane e-tune down loaded into the Power Wagon. Damn....feels like a new truck. :driving:  Got a lot more low end torque. Gas mileage is going up, if I can keep my foot off the loud pedal. :driving: Once I burn through this tank of 87, and 2 tanks of 93 octane. I'll do the 93 e-tune. My truck always felt like a dog from day one. Now it's running like it should have. :happydance:

Yes, be ashamed! N00b!

Kidding though, modding the Z has definitely been a fun hobby. Plus meeting the people.

I have a Redline boot sitting on my workbench. I wanted to be able to adjust the lockouts on the shifter without having to pull the boot off. And I have to holepunch the boot.. :shakes head:

Will do. I foresee a decent learning curve on this. I'm used to driving one-handed with my right on my b&m short-throw.

Could be worse though - if I was Falcon I'd be used to driving one-handed with my right on my passenger's nutsack :nutswinger::nutswinger::nutswinger:

Update from snowpoaclypse 2020..........the rear window of the sedan is 70% covered in the lightest dusting possible. :ugh2: More dusting is likely:confused: maybe:rolleyes: before it warms up enough to rain.

I've had my car since 2013. The rate of modifications to it is close to zero these days, so don't worry haha.
