It's awful tall.. the shifting feels nice and mechanical and all.. but it's awful tall and in the way

I'm just trying to reconcile the fact that I spent $500 on something that's guaranteed to limit my recreational proclivities.

In the way of what? I'm afraid to ask what your recreational proclivities are.

It looks like a ribcage buster.

Now if I was falcon, my only thought would be "I wonder if Redondo has a shift knob of suitable girth that won't absorb astroglide..."

Not on the adapter. My current thought is to put loctite on my b&m shifter and thread the knob on. Then the knob itself should come off. But that leaves the adapter still attached to an aftermarket part I'd like to sell.

And since I am not redondo I dont have another raceseng knob to throw on the b&m and offer as a "package deal" lol

I guess you had the raceseng on the b&m and can't get that adapter off in order to use the adapter for the coolerworks. I guess you'll have to buy one of my spare knobs

By the way, you can unscrew the adapter with a wrench once you get the knob off

He was convicted I believe. Don't know if he spent time behind bars or not.

Seen that Trips has locked the thread. :shakes head:

We are about to ride the Illinois weather roller coaster:icon14: Somewhere between 1 and 6 inches of snow later today/over night followed by maybe some ice:ugh2: Then rain and a high of 40 early tomorrow morning. Then the bottom falls out and drops to 4 with 25mph~ winds :shakes head: Don't think the wind chill will be above 0 until Wednesday:gtfo2: then more rain and mid 40s by the end of next week.

JLarson 01-17-2020 06:44 AM

Happy Friday everybody! May you all enjoy a half day of work and a whole day of buying Z parts.

We're going to be on the edge of that system. Starting tonight.

Said the individual that just bought a huge mobile butt-plug for his Z. :icon14: Yeah, looks a little big, I agree, but think of all the money you'll now be saving not buying cases of V-Tight like you did in the past.

Now you can just grip it n rip it as they say. :ugh:

Yeap, that is why I don't have an RJ closed deck block on my first motor. He get's no money, period.

Bobby is crooked. Anybody who jumps in bed with him is in the same category in my book.

I can't in good conscience sell you a car part that will sit in the box for two years. That would constitute abuse :stirthepot:

I’ll have to read an catched up later; getting ready for work-but all 50 bolts, nuts, washers installed & barely snugged until block removal tomorrow morning
Went a tick large on the hole to give me movement while I remove blocks from underneath & later will install a crush sleeve in each hole :happydance:
