GF and I called it quits today after two years. Mutual decision and the right one. Better now than in five years with kids and a house involved. Doesn't make me feel any better about it. Plus most of my 'friends' were from her social circles, so now I am definitely feeling adrift.

Well...........you still us. The sex part.......you have to take that up with yourself.

After my first wife past away. I started to dating again. It took me a while. Dated a few. The one I thought that would be the next mrs. Turned out to be a drama queen after a year. And I called it quits on her. I still think about her every now and then. But I think I made the right decision. I married Chris and she has been great.

It's best to call it off now then later if you have doubts. Kids and house becomes a mess.

eastwest2300 01-05-2020 08:51 PM

I cant kick a man while he's down duude.. not my style.

You only hurt because you cared and your hurt directly proportional to how much you loved. Keep your chin up and stay active! My first marriage ended after 18 years and 5 years of dating before tying the knot! I was a very dark time in my life so I feel for ya my brother.

Many more fish in the sea. It's best to find out now than much later. I had 3 faïence's. LOL, I am glad as heck I kicked each one to the curb. My wife of 18yrs is way way better. She is a trouper to put up with me and my car silliness.

Good Monday Morning All. Hope you all had a great weekend. Well can't believe that the Saints lost again. They just didn't show up to play and too many mistakes. At least the Seahawks won. Oh and last nights steak was awesome once again. Coffee then off to gym, so hope you all have a good one and be safe out there!!

That's a rough place to be, and I'm sorry to hear you had to go through it. Dating can be a roller coaster ride. My advice is to take time to analyze why it didn't work, and what you did/didn't like, and remember it for next time. The novelty of thinking with your willy only lasts so long.
