Word is Madwi has a box of Dom on ice. When you cross the state line he's gonna pop all twelve bottles and pour 'em on the concrete under his lift...:stirthepot:

I'll take video. I already checked with Southwest and TSA. I'm good as long as I drain out the fluid first

Get some calipers out & measure each end of the Wavetrac; as there’s room for a tin wrench to hold all in place while torquing
I noticed these flat places on Madwi’s after we’ve done most of the physical labor :wtf2:

Good Tuesday Morning all. It's a chilly morning here in Austin, 40* with it getting up to 76* and sunny. Getting things started with coffee then gym and after lunch tackling the leaves in the back yard. Hope you all have a great and safe one today!!

JLarson 12-03-2019 05:54 AM

Morning all! Getting an implant this morning- the dental kind, not the kind that excites Bettyz - wish me luck. Definite perk to being salaried is not worrying about the time it takes.

EW, good luck in your move! I know you'll miss Madwi's warm embrace, but stay positive!

BettyZ 12-03-2019 06:30 AM

Amen to that. I'd be telling the dentist to angle my chair so I can see and operate my laptop during the procedure.

I expect the next implants you get will be of the chesticular variety.

Exxxtra Wide will be cruising the mean streets of Miami at a total loss - "duuuuude, I cant find another Z to park my Z under..."

Stay strong and avoid dairy products, bro.

I don't have anything yet. The non-threaded version is less expensive. My understanding is you can just use nuts and bolts with it if you don't use the flange with threaded bolt holes. I'll probably just get the threaded version since that's what mine already has (it's a 2011 like yours).

They’re not bad; if you getting the one like I got
They’ll drill a hole down into the bone, rune a tap down it & then thread the titanium lower portion into the bone
It will have a screw on the top with a T-6 torx head :icon14:
He may leave it above or below the skin until it heals up :ugh2:
After that, they’ll remove the screw & set your new tooth on top, thread the screw in to about 2.5”# (30 Newton cm) & put a small filler over the screw to prevent it backing out :wtf2:
That’s all there is to it
