2005 was the last year Civics had timing belts. The 1.8 liter engines have timing chains and external pumps.

Weird paced day at work. I'm varying between busy and absolutely dead.

I'm pushing a broom, trying to look busy. Can't do anything until the inventory is over. Did all of my CBT's for the month already.

The rotor fitment looks good to me.The rotors are always drilled a little bigger than the studs. You may not have had the wheel fully seated when you installed the lug nuts.

That's normal. Typical fitment of rotor to hub.

The car drives fine. So it sure seems like everything is good to go. New pads and rotors are on deck anyway.

Thanks for the responses, fellas :tiphat:

I don't think it really counts as a civic anymore..

It started life as a d series sedan, but now is K swapped with all kinds of other work done.. Its actually a lot of fun to drive.

But the k series are timing chain, so the water pump runs off the accessory belt.

Not really feeling like I want to adult today. At least the weekend starts at 7 am.

Picked up the wifes Grandsport Vette this afternoon. Not happy at all paying that bill. Two right side wheels and two front tires. One more stupid hiccup out of that thing and a new Dodge dually will be in it's place.

This was the sky over my motel in Missoula last night. The red isn't from sunset, it's a reflection from the forest fires. Storm was caused by the fires as well. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fa1cea283b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a36b1f2869.jpg

We seen the fires around Flagstaff on last month's travel. Seen the smoke from over 50 miles away.

My youngest stepson got the 2018 930 ftlb beast. Got the air bag rear suspension. You can lower it to back under your 5th wheel or goose neck. Then raise it back up to normal ride height.

Rusty 08-01-2019 06:56 PM

Speaking of stepsons. The oldest wrecked his Mustang GT 500 the other week. Said the throttle stuck open in 2nd gear. It's totaled.

While you are building the garage, you my want to consider putting in a couple of pull down cord reel trouble lights and or a couple of pull down cord reel extension cords... it makes it nice to just have them available to pull on when you need them...

You need to have some receptacles on the ceiling to do this of course...

A pisser in the corner would be nice too.. Nothing fancy but a place to take a leak so you don't have to trudge in the house...

And a refrigerator...

And a lounge with a couple of chairs

And a pile of porno mags to peruse

And a place to fry bacon up...

Thats all dream garage stuff right there...
