The garage looks like a couple grenades went off inside and then a tornado rolled through.

Did you figure out how you're going to insulate the ceiling?

Installing Scratch (insulation) sucks. I hate it with a passion also.

I am all for blowing in insulation, right at this moment. tomorrow I might be back at just hanging some batts and tossing some sheetrock up. I ordered the soffit vent guards and will staple them into place. Probably change my mind again at that point too.

Insulation is a necessary evil.

madwi 06-30-2019 09:37 PM

Positive note, car is sounding better after fixing a couple of rattles.

Rusty 06-30-2019 09:45 PM

Got the pear tree trimmed back off of the new patio cover. Grass is cut and bagged. Finished with the raised bed garden. Started to make a new top for a patio table that had glass in it that broke last summer. Had busy day.

I feel guilty(not). I went out for a bike ride on the beach and looked at beautiful girls all day. Life's a beach!

I feel equally as guilty... took the boat to the north end of Ft DeSoto Beach yesterday and just sat back and watched the bikini madness all day long. Yep... Life's a beach alright!

Spooler 06-30-2019 10:22 PM

I have been very busy myself. Having 10 acres in the south can work you to death.

Happy Canada Day to all the Canucks out there...

Being part Canadian myself draws us here to have our annual Canada Day party tonight on our dock.

Should be 4 other couples all arriving via boats to drink and make jokes about cold weather and beavers...

I'z am.

Have work 8 hrs a day for the rest of the week. :shakes head: 6am to 2:30pm. Brad is on vacation this week. So I have to fill in for him. The other guy WAS to work from 10am to 6pm. Found out Friday that he can't do it now because he picked up another part time job that should lead to a full time position. So now He says that he can work from 3pm to 8 pm. I will be by myself for the whole day. IF they are thinking that I can handle everything. They're crazy. There will be a bunch of stuff undone. It takes 2 people during the day to keep up with stuff.

Recipe for disaster. Anyone with any sense knows you can't leave Rusty alone for any period of time...
