Let me give you some advice. The largest piston/barrel combo needs to be 90.5mm. Longevity wise they are king. Lesson learned here. I ordered at 2110cc engine, 90.5mm x 82mm. What I got was a 2165cc, 94mm x 78mm stroke. I got the big valve 044 heads. I ended up having to go back through the engine, replace the heads with some Gene Berg ported/polished semi hemi cut heads. The machine work was beautiful. I would suggest you get Gene Berg's books and read them. Save yourself some time and money.

Your memory would serve you as correct. LOL

I can remember one guy driving in and asking for a tune up. Pulled the plugs out and they was covered in oil, plus one had a smashed electrode. Hmmmmm did a compression test. One cylinder had zero compression. Removed the valve cover. Packed full of sludge. Turned the motor over by hand. The the rockers for the valves on the zero cylinder barely moved. Hmmmm removed the rockers and the push rods wouldn't come out. Hmmmmm finally got them out and they was bent. Hmmmmmm Removed the head and had 2 pistons at TDC. Hmmmmmmmmm Rebuild time. This was the first time I seen a piston break at the oil ring land. The top of the piston was at TDC and the rest of the piston shirt was still moving in the cylinder like nothing happened. :rofl2:

The air cooled motors liked Castrol oil. No sludge.

2110cc with some 90.5mm thick wall cylinder jugs. Which means you would boar out to 92mm's.
