It seems like we are going through this cycle every week or week and a half or so .... weird

We're getting all four seasons in a few day cycles.. Snow close by, sunny yesterday morning, then chilly and still sunny when I left work yesterday, but when I got home, dark rain clouds and rain/wind... thats what its been like the past several weeks

Rusty 02-19-2019 07:52 AM

Almost 60 later in the week.

Seasons here are construction, construction, fall, and winter. The cones they put down during construction make for some interesting autocrossing. :driving:

We entered a 400 year solar cycle along with a 11 year solar cycle. We haven't hit the bottom yet on the 11 year cycle. That should be about another 18 months.

Yep. There is a 2,000 year solar cycle also. It's being debated about that right now. If we are entering it too.

Same here, I didn't think pot holes were a problem in SO CAL.... cause the roads don't expand, let in water and then freeze like it does here.
Guess crappy roads are everywhere :icon14:

Rusty 02-19-2019 08:03 AM

Well..............it's time to go make the donuts. They will be ready at 10. I will keep a couple of Zoren's specials off to the side just for him.

Hmmmmm... I think I'm for warming, not cooling. Only because the hotties like to wear less clothing when it's warm. So...

Its more like local/state govts here are legal criminals in that they tax us to death claiming our roads will fall out under us if they dont raise our gas/registration taxes to pay for roads... then they turn around and just fill the pot holes or leave them be until they get enough complaints. Yesterday alone, I hit one pot hole that wasnt there the day before, and swerved around 4 others just in the morning.
In Arizona, I can probably count the number of potholes on one hand in the hundreds of trips ive made out there

When I lived out there, I was absolutely amazed at how rough the roads were in the LA area... so bad!!! And that was in the Santa Monica, Century City, Culver City, Venice... area. You'd think they'd pave a road once in a while for the taxpayers??!!

Theyre still just as bad if not worse..State has plenty of money to fix the roads, but they have more important issues to spend the money on... like 25 mil for illegal alien defense attorneys..

:icon18: :icon18: that's funny!
It takes a lot of balls ( for local gov. ) to go and mark your side walk for replacement when the road in front of your house is all f**ked up
just saying
