no one buys the dinners.

$20 a piece for garbage. i spend $10-20 in the restaurant and enjoy better food and beer. or make stuff at the cabin regardless better than an overpriced blah meal.

And by cooking you mean we both wonder around while steaks cook in the sink for 2-8 hours?

Actually start thinking of a menu for friday and/or saturday night dinner. Breakfast I grab at the lodge as that was a good meeting up place.

Yea. Was talking to Susan just now about it. Breakfast with you guys at the lodge. I could bring a massive container for steaks to sous vide. i think it can hold 8 cuts using rib racks. We were just planning on chips and pb&j for lunches. I could prep some sides at home and just put them on ice for the drive down.

Leingod 01-18-2019 11:55 AM

And I can bring you a few more loaves of rye bread. Could possibly haul a ton of pierogies if we have a way to reheat them properly.

I think just some sides and we should be good. I'll think of some easy things to bring along.

Well you're in luck. Sous vide the meats first and then char them on a grill. I generally use a searz-all to get the same effect. I just saw on the registration page for ZdayZ that cooking on the grounds is prohibited.

Maybe I should make a quick thread on what people would be bringing if we all plan to get together.

prohibited? first 3 years we would buy a charcoal grill at walmart and cook in the front yard everyday then throw it away lol

Perfect!! I'll chip in some money if we plan on going that route. I could bring down some corn and other veges to char on the grill. Sous vide the steaks and sear them on the grill afterwards would be best. Especially if we use charcoal. And I could bring some hickory pellets if we felt like smoking anything as well.

oh i gave up on cooking the last 2 years. i just go to the grill room and eat. its so much easier and saves hauling stuff to zdayz to cook. also more room for beer in the fridge.

She loved both. I think she preferred the coffee one the best.
