If coil froze thats a problem , most likely you are low on r/22. Or 410a gas . Also can be air flow problem but all you can check is

If coil froze thats a problem , most likely you are low on r/22. Or 410a gas . Also can be air flow problem but all you can check is you’re air filter. Or if you have more than one thermostat a zone damper may be broke. The only way to see is put gauges on unit and check the temps and pressures to see what the problem . If air flow problem most times will freeze whole coil hope this helps
