Next week we actually drop into the 60s as a high. What’s this world coming to?

Must be the season for bathroom remodeling. Finally wrapped up the tile in mine this weekend. What an annoying job.

Hi all. Made it to the OBX. We're in the northern part. Close to the Va. state line. Froze last night in bed. Couldn't find the thermostat. Found it this morning. It was set on 60. Reset it to 73. The weather is nice. 79, with a 10 to 15 mph wind. It's over cast. I'm hoping it will burn off.

Glad you made it safely! This time of year in the OBX is beautiful.

My shower stall. Honestly an easy job, but INCREDIBLY boring. I've got to add the actual shelves in the spaces provided, and grout the tile, but the worst of it is finally done.

Farmers let’s me change it to a storage policy whenever I want. I usually keep it that way during the summer.

Grouting sucks!!!

JARblue 10-08-2018 03:35 PM

WTF... 1 of 3 computers in my office won't connect to the server. The mapped drive no longer works. When I disconnect it, it does not delete the mapped drive. The icon remains, and I get a "Location is not available" error instead of the "cannot reconnect to mapped drive" error. Super frustrating. Manual DNS or IP connections do not work even though they work for the other computers. Internet and other VPN connections work fine on the computer. Server is local. I'm at a loss. All firmware is up to date, all devices have been rebooted. Even switched out some cables with the other computers and no change. Any thoughts anyone?

Manually disconnect mapped drives... net use x: /delete ... where x is drive letter. Reboot and log back in. Use DHCP. If it has problems connecting to internet, repair IP stack. Also add server to host file and see if you can map the drive manually. Also ping server by up and name

Pros: Not as "Fragile". Doesn't get scratched with the tiniest thing. Easy to Wash. Can Still wax it. Easy to fix/patch (cut a small piece or hit with heat gun and smooth out). Cheaper than paint. Hides any small scratches on the paint under the wrap. Rock chips really aren't a thing unless you're camping behind a semi. Can change the color or add accents easily if it becomes stale.

Cons: Gotta be careful when it comes to say cleaning the edges to not peel up. Cant let it stay dirty for too long, as dirt penetrates the wrap and can cause discoloration / bubbles. Fades slightly if left out in sun for really long time while dirty(Weeks/Months)

Cons only really come into play if you dont take care of it, I.E. keep it from being dirty as heck for long periods of time. And if it starts peeling up you want to smooth it back down or make a small patch before it gets worse.

Plus if its waxed, you can literally hit it with a pressure washer and it cleans up super easy.

Had to replace a cloths line post yesterday. Those dang post hole diggers got the best of my neck. Hurts like a mother. Both knees have been giving me crap since Saturday because a storm front coming through. So I have been a gimp who can't turn his neck for the last few days. No work today because I have been in an ill hurting mood. I am kicking and screaming getting older. Guess I can't be 38 forever.

madwi 10-08-2018 06:43 PM

In a rush to get on my way to work, I didnt notice the concrete in the garage was all wet and foot came out from under me and I took a tumble. Smashed my right elbow and left ankle pretty good. Hooray for Monday.

You know when you are at the beach, and you bury people in the sand. Well......we buried my brother's boy and his wife in the sand. We gave Kevin a set of C size tits and a big vigina molded in the sand. His wife got a big penis and balls molded. They had no clue what we was doing until we all started to laugh and taking pictures. :rofl2:
