Going home this afternoon to work on the living room

The new wall mount goes right across both the wall plate for the HDMI cable and the electrical outlet :shakes head: Moved the electrical outlet up to clear the mount and turned it horizontal. Blocking for the old wall mount had to be cut out to accommodate the relocation. The existing holes for the HDMI cable and center channel speaker wiring will be abandoned and patched as they are being relocated as well. The larger hole is going to be a recess for the stupid proprietary box separate from the TV that has all of the HDMI inputs.

I had Thursday and Friday off for Thanksgiving and then spent all weekend in the office. Last week I busted my butt on Thursday and Friday so I wouldn't have to go into the office on the weekend. Then spent most of Sunday there :shakes head:

The things I do for a 40% salary increase :icon17:

40% can be pretty life altering.

My guess a GM

It was a Subaru Forester 2007, plugs and wires were only a year or so old. Whoever did them only put them in about hand tight as well.

Wait until you see speaker wire used for spark plug wires. :rofl2: Or brake pads put in backwards. :icon14: Vacuum hose used for fuel hose and them bitching about poor gas mileage.

Ask Spooler for some of his Depends. I'm sure he has a stock pile of them.

Well, the total isn't changing too much. The biggest difference is I get my yearly earnings paid to me monthly in salary instead of taking a large bonus at the end of the year. Figured I'd forego a few years of bonuses to be more comfortable month-to-month. But we're doing more work than last year, so I'm hoping I'll wind up with a few thousand in end-of-year bonuses to spend on the Z :driving:

That could be fun.

Tempted to make another lasagna tomorrow. I'm sure the guy over on the on topic thread wouldn't mind a redux.
