When I used to work for the Game and Fish Dept I would often have to call for search and rescue when working on one of the sky islands in southern AZ. During the monsoon season people would come to the mountain top to hike and recreate and the temps would be in the 90s and then a storm would move in and it would rain, hail, snow or any combination there of. Temperatures would drop by 30 or more degrees in 10 to 15 minutes. Yeah, people would be caught out in the weather in tank tops and shorts. Bad juju when that happens!

Work is like a vacation to my vacation. Joby is a monster and worked from 7 am until midnight, everyday of vacation. :icon17:

I wasn't too impressed with the Astros' closing pitching last night either. But you are right - they are getting there. Altuve had a HR which is a good sign.

Rondon isn’t the closer. He’s the setup man. ******** call of Altuve out at home.

Not much. How is the build coming? I keep missing the photos you post.

My set of 72 inch race ramps should arrive tomorrow. Otherwise, jus t playing the new dragon quest game that came out and enjoying the new job.

I wasn't necessarily referring to the "closer". I was referring to the closing pitchers as a group. The last four really. The guys that were called on and couldn't get it done.

But yeah that out call reviewed and upheld was total bs. Probably still wouldn't have won the way that 9th inning was headed.

Love that Sam Darnold's 1st NFL pass was a pick 6 (Quandre Diggs from Texas, too :rofl2:). How fitting. He looked pretty good after that though.

madwi 09-11-2018 03:26 AM

Man, first night back to work. Security dispatch calls me and says, "I saw you just come in the East entrance, be careful, there is a knife wielding guy out there at large that just robbed the hyatt across the street."
