Rusty, the official answer... I dunno yet. Bringing it to C3 this friday.

The resevior itself is fine. So either there is a line thats ******, or the seal to the power steering pump took a poop. Or... the worst possible one, theres a crack in the steering rack.

Can you see where the fluid is coming from? What side of the car?

I'm not sure what their arrangement was, but he polished off about 8 cans in the 2 hours I was there :icon17:

He slowed down some. Must of had to go to the bathroom. Kidneys and bladder had to be full for him to only drink that many.

StevenSlice 09-17-2018 04:33 PM

Not really. Since it decided to spray all over the engine bay theres no clear indication where its coming from until i can actually clean it up. But its the vicinity of the pump / reservoir

Thinking about food. What do you want to eat? Dog food? Cat food? Road kill?

I'll take a road kill burger, over medium, with all the fixins'.
I'll probably leave directly from work, so I'm thinking I'll arrive around 730 Friday night, traffic dependant. If you and your lady eat earlier, please continue on as normal, I'll grab something on the way. I really appreciate your help and hospitality - let me know any time you're out near Philly and we'll return the favor :tiphat:

Unfortunately my wife won't make it for this trip, she has a friends birthday she committed to.

LOL, I had one Mountain Dew. I didn't get my second one until just north of Houston when I stopped to fill up. One heck of a drive. I deadheaded home, drove straight through. I had a SR moment. LOL I won't volunteer for that torture again. The last time I did a drive similar was in the 1990's. It wouldn't have been so bad but I sat in 2 traffic accidents for about 3hrs each. I had an easy drive Saturday I thought. I wish I would have driven straight there.

Figure you would have an IV stuck in your arm to keep you full of Dew for the drive. :rofl2:

That like when I drove the motorhome from east side of Toledo Ohio to North Platte Ne. 1,011 miles in one day for a wedding this past July. :icon14: Normally a 2 day drive.

If you all are so inclined, I could use some prayers and good vibes for my unborn niece. Her twin sister passed earlier today and mom is still early on in the pregnancy. It's been a tough day.
