:iagree: :iagree:

But now I'm balking at the $800 labor cost... especially since I already have the transmission jack.

Don’t get carried away. It’s not just as hot. The in-laws live on a lake in VA and yes it gets hot and with the lake it’s 100% humidity, but it’s not the same as Texas heat.

Hot is hot. I don't care where you are at. One you feel the sweat. The other you don't.

Leingod 10-23-2018 02:27 PM

Gotta do the leg shuffle when the nads start sticking to either leg

I disagree. I can play golf in 110F heat in Vegas with no issues. It sucks playing golf in Texas in anything over 90F.

Leingod 10-23-2018 02:37 PM

All depends on humidity. 100F with no humidity isn't bad at all. 60F with 100% is brutal.

When was the last time you changed your underwear? When you throw them against the wall, and they stick?

Liquid air. :rofl2:

You should spend a little time in a power plant. Inside one of the boiler feed pump buildings is about 110F to 120F depending on the outside temp. If there is a steam leak inside the building. Then that is pure misery.

worked in a shipping/receiving/formation facility and thats the way it was at the formation area. All the heat and moisture generated by the battery acid and charging of the batteries was brutal. On top of that, you had to wear a jumpsuit that was acid proof (some were thicker than others) gloves and goggles.

I'm a trained Hazmat Responder, Everyone at the power plant had to be. Trained with Class A Level moonsuit. Talk about a weight loss program in the summer time. The moonsuits are self contained air. You WILL sweat you azz off in one of those. :shakes head: Heat stroke is common while wearing the suit in the summer.
