Sounds like you could use a IT guy to help him out. My rates are not terrible in the grand scheme of things. I am very patient with non techy people when I am getting paid. Lein can vouch for my troubleshooting skillz on the phone.

No joke. In some ways, I get it from his side - his oldest son died, his wife had a stroke, and his friends are gone. But I'm pretty sure I'd still be making completely different decisions.

nah, I just look at the shiny tools and then tuck em back into their display cases. Not really. I have been extremely busy with family and garbage sales ect. Not a lot of time left for the Z. In fact I am canceling insurance on it at end of the week. Will be in storage until next spring.

Even more of a reason to pick up a hobby and learn. No excuses. I am sitting at work right now learning about short codes needed for PBX systems. Stuff that has been outdated for the past 35 years, but is still needed on rare cases.

I am curious what tools they are going to use when wanting to work on their vehicles here. :confused:

Perfect climate controlled offices. Fun toys err inspection tools to use. Having to memorize standards blows goats though :icon17:

Haha well I do have a warm place in my heart for Z car enthusiasts! How are you with calipers and a micrometer? CMM and FARO arm experience a bonus.

Accurate. Unfortunately at this point I never get to play with the inspection tools. It's a lot more determining processes, procedures, and finding useful metrics.

Also apparently teaching a junior inspector he has to hit save his files periodically...
