I'm paying insurance on 3 cars for just me. And the Fit is the only one I have a car payment on. Plus I hate it. It is long past due time to get rid of it :gtfo2:

JARblue 10-23-2018 08:12 PM

The plan is to dump the Fit and buy a new clutch for the Z :D

MOPP level 4 - full chemical suit, gloves, gas mask, boots. We had to train in MOPP 4 gear for hours at a time, obstacle course, firing range, road marches. We looked like a bunch of cartoon characters, wobbling to keep from tripping over ourselves, instead of highly trained killng machines..hehe...Pools of sweat would form inside the masks, and when you took the suit off, you were just drenched in sweat. Good thing was during any down time, you could catch some Z;s without anybody knowing lol

Morning folks! Monday morning sucked. Went to the gf's car in the morning to get ready to head back to CA, it wouldnt start! We had the starter replaced last year and I called the shop that did the work. It was still under warranty til today so they said to get it fixed and they would reimburse us. Turned out that the owner of the shop we took it to, my mom knew him..but no discount.boo!! lol - Christian Brothers Automotive...its a franchise, but man their shops are really nice.
Ended up replacing the starter, battery cable (it was frayed pretty bad at the end) and the oil pressure sending unit. GF paid 600 dollars but peace of mind we wouldnt be stuck in the middle of the desert..

Sounds pretty awful. My body is already a sweat-making machine. In the summer, after a quick run, my clothing is drenched to the point of being able to wring it out.

Im the same way. I really hate formal events and start sweating through my shirt..sometimes Ill double up on my undershirt just to keep the seat from showing..lol Funny thing is that my arms dont really sweat. Always been that way my whole life.

They have a lot of those here in Houston. Mom always recommended the one by her work. Took my S-10 there in college for a cracked radiator, quoted me $800. I laughed and asked him if they were putting a gold one in. I bought the radiator, hoses, clamps and fluid for $90 and had it swapped out in 30 mins. I realize you have to pay your costs and make a profit, but 1000%.

Wow, thats crazy for the radiator. The starter was qouted for 400 something, a little more than what we paid for last year here, but has a better warranty. I was looking at their franchise info and it doesnt look like its a bad deal. While we were waiting for the work to be done, I was thinking in my head about opening a franchise and bringing the Z in anytime I wanted and do all the work to my hearts content..lol

What the hell is wrong with my doctor? I'll take the flu shot but I think I'm going to pass on the blood clot to the lung.

Put bubble gum on the end of it. When she starts chewing. You know it's in deep enough.

Can someone take me out back and shoot me please.

Don't ya just love the 'know-it-alls'... Most mobile radios are good for line of sight ~11 miles (over flat land) with the built in antennas. Add a 6 foot whip, then you MIGHT get more.... along with a giant sign that says 'shoot me, I have a radio'....
