Back for another 8 hr shift at the urgent care clinic. Afterwards, my weekend starts for the next 2 days till I come back next weednesday. No inperson interpretation assignments for the next 2 days so far. Only phone interpreting for a couple of hours daily for the next 2 days.

Should get enough rest to attack the next week.

That's going to be a wasted breakfast and everything you eat today once you start the cleaning process. :rofl2:

More like a cleansing process. lol

Good luck and hope goes well. Look at this way, once done, you wont have to worry for another 10 years.

I am looking at the Uber Eats selections. I am hoping that Sushi Nami is on the list.

Working on the Power Wagon. My rear locker light is flashing. Not a good sign most of the time.

You got an Eaton E-Locker in there?

Don’t say that; he may barracade himself in the house! Or more likely in the garage w/Z & Turbo!

It does have the rusted floor board issue on the pass. side only, the rest of the car is in very good cond. it is one of the best looking " road dogs " out there!
What I really like about it is it can take a rock chip and I don't care, it can take a door ding & I don't care & best of all I don't have to have full coverage insurance!
I'll most likely have it rebuilt or find a used one.

Been a while here. Will give repz later on.

killrain 06-17-2018 04:53 PM

Changing brake pads today, I noticed that the brake lines are different colors on either side. Passenger is a beige color and the drivers black. Anyone else notice/have this?

killrain 06-17-2018 04:55 PM

I hate the fact that my calipers are all scratched and chipped. That’s what happens though when it’s a daily driver. Just means they will need to be powder coated later on!!!

I think that’s a good excuse to do it later on.

The driveway is ~550' long, he aint bothering me. I think he was trying to catch speeders trying to cut through the construction area.

Yeah I remember the pass side floor rot being a huge issue with the 3rd Gen Altima. But if you don't care too much and rest of the car is solid sounds like a good plan to rebuild.

Driving it and leaving it without too much care is what I miss about my old TL and having 2 cars in general. I find myself paranoid again about where I leave my Q50 just like when I had the Z.

No, it's an AAM set-up. Gear driven LSD, with an electric locker in the rear. The front is an AAM open diff with the electric locker.

Pulled the diff cover off. The fluid looked about normal for 55,000 miles. There is a magnet and sensor that detects when the locker is engaged. There was a BIG bunch of metal particles on the magnet and senors. Cleaned everything up. Checked operation. Everything is fine. Installed diff cover and filled with 6 quarts of 75w-90 Mobil 1. Tomorrow, I'll do the front diff.

Done at clinic. Taking a break and then 2 hours of phone interpreting. After that, off for next 2 days.
