Also, today marks 1 year with the missus. I consider myself pretty lucky to have found a woman who not only tolerates my modding but encourages it, and lends a helping (and more delicate) hand where I can't fit mine! That's not to be mistaken for the service Zoren provides fitting his hands in tight spaces...

You guys were great and I am glad to have met you both. Congratulations on the anniversary!

More tuning to be done after work hopefully. Seb just sent over the 4th revision for my MAP 2 runs needed. I wish the guy would explain a bit better what he was doing though.

what is going on and why is there a black helicopter flying low over my house in a circle search pattern? :ugh2:

Lein, saw those nice tire pictures. I had a very lazy weekend finally. No driving the Z for once though... KILL ALL DEERS.

They were shot haha. Inner tread was non-existant. I kept the fronts and will try to pawn them off. They're still basically brand new looking. Sadly, the new rears are to wide with my spacers. I need to reduce them to 15mm I believe. Maybe even 10mm. To much poke for my taste.

StevenSlice 05-21-2018 10:53 AM

If those are shot you dont want to see my rear tires lol. Although my fronts were way worse, my rears are really bad too.

madwi 05-21-2018 10:56 AM

Ordered some pics from one of the dragon runs. I had forgot to plug in my dash cam lol.

That's a typical response from a tree hugger, PETA person who hits a deer with their $$$ vehicle around here. :rofl2:

I hit 6 so far with my truck. It's ready for the next one. :driving:

Hitting wild turkeys is a thing now. I have a couple of friends who have hit them. They are like hitting 16 lb bowling balls.

I had never had pineapple soda here in NY when I went to SoCal. Cactus coolers blew my mind. I've never had them since. haha. Probably 7-8 years now I think? As for In and Out.... I was in Cali for 9 days. I ate 23 burgers in that time. It was glorious.

An old coworker's wife hit one @ 70 mph and it went through the windshield and it looked like someone ate a shotgun inside the car. There was organs and entrails hanging from the ceiling and back window. Blood was everywhere.

That sounds horrid.

Atleast all i did was bang up the front left corner of my car and scuff up the side of my car as a result of losing control after hitting it. Thats fixable, the stench of rotting deer guts... idk about that one.

Organs and entrails hanging from parts and blood everywhere sounds a lot like the dead dog I ran over. Thankfully it was only undercarriage exposed to the mess. But it took me several hours to clean it all. It was particularly nasty since I was south of San Antonio at the time of the incident and still had two hours of highway driving in the hot Texas summer before I got home and started cleaning :barf:

Leingod 05-21-2018 12:14 PM

Zat Zuma got back to me. He couldn't get ahold of Chase either and Zat has his direct number. Now I play the waiting game with payPal...

Pretty nice shot. I think Ms. Pint should go next year and sell pics for $4 each. :icon17: It is a larger pic. I think the original is something like 9000x6000

Couple years back. I came across a older Caddy Eldo sitting on the side of the road. Stopped to see what was going on. The woman had hit a deer at about 70 mph. The deer took out the hood, windshield, front pillars, steering wheel, both head rests on the front seats. It was in the back seat still alive and kicking. The woman was trapped in the front, under the dash. That's the only place she could go to get away from the deer's hoofs. State Trooper shoot the deer in the back seat. That deer torn up the inside of that car.

Had a neighbor hit 2 turkeys at about 75 mph with his cheby truck. Both hit the windshield. When he got stopped. The windshield was laying in his lap, with both turkeys laying on top of the windshield. The one on his side was still alive. :rofl2:

Finished cleaning up the Z today. A ton of brake dust on the rims. Hit a giant bug with the front bumper yesterday on the way home. He was in technicolor, about 4" round, and left a small impression. Took awhile for me to remove his dead carcass from the bumper.

Madwi showed me the ways of using a pressure washer with a 40 degree tip at about 6 inches from the paint or glass while spraying in multiple directions.
