Madwi, when the exhaust comes. Lemme know if I need to order anything. New filters, oil, bolts, gaskets, etc. Tracking got updated to tomorrow now. And side blades to Friday. I'm going to go home and touch my diffuser some more. (pun)

I'll look at it and clean it up this weekend some time.

I'm more hyped to be working with others that'll teach me (even just the basics) of the mechanics for the car. Knowing how to change your oil is one thing. Changing cats, exhaust, and a full clutch pedal are completely new to me. So don't get mad if I ask some very dumb questions along the way.

So no worries buddy. I'll be under the car with ya the whole time. And I am coaxing my GF to do the clutch install considering she will be the most flexible of all of us. lol.

hell yeah, thats awesome.

eastwest2300 03-14-2018 04:57 PM

mannn, if your GF can install that clutch pedal, she'd get hella praise from me.. :icon17:

eastwest2300 03-14-2018 04:58 PM

The plan for that though is, we're gonna pull your seat out, then lay blankets down..

eastwest2300 03-14-2018 04:58 PM

fellas, I just got done washing my infiniti.. my fingers are in full painus.

eastwest2300 03-14-2018 04:59 PM

I need to pull those install directions for that pedal, its been a while since I did mine.

I'd say definitely be ready to order new gaskets for the exhaust and HFCs, they tend to rust and become ineffective..

She should be fine doing it. We would just need to tell her exactly what to do. Hahahaha. Otherwise, we can let her go OCD on the diffuser install.

Mr. Madwi might still have the hardware for the cats. I believe he said they're still in the box and brand new. Will double check though.

As for the exhaust, should I just go through FI? Just hesitant on wait times from them again.

Gosh dang... wish I was in the area during this tech session to learn and assist as well.

(of course for the pierogis too...:yum:)

Come up to my place. I got plenty to do. You want to learn on how to install SPL sub frame bushings with the sub frame still on the Z?

You shouldnt have any issues getting new gaskets from FI, they literally should have them laying around, albeit, they wont just give them away unfortunately.

madwi 03-14-2018 07:34 PM

Lein: The HFC have all the hardware and bolts that come with the HFCs from F.I. Not sure what all is in the bag but I have them.

Hi

Leingod 03-14-2018 08:04 PM

Apparently talking with someone while banging out an email at the same time on a mechanical keyboard impresses them. Next up, I Shred a head of lettuce with a chefs knife while maintaining eye contact with the nearest person.

LMFAO :roflpuke2:

You're not the first person to get that address. One women I dated a while back was a pest. She wanted my work address in the worse way. So I gave her that address, and the phone number. I was trying to dump her. And haven't called in a few days. She called one day to see if I was at work and if she could talk to me. When they answered. Hello, this is the CIA.................She fainted. :rofl2: I got the low down from a friend of her's a month later. She never did call me again.
