How much do you tip your barber / haircutter?

I tip $2, it is a military installation so most of the time the haircut is all messed up.

I used to tip like about $7-10, but it was haircut, massage and manicure by a nice lady.

Dude, I know your feeling - I'm AF stuck on an Army base, and it has some of the WORST people working there. There is only one I will let touch my hair, and she does a great job. I always flip her 3-5. The mere fact she takes her time to cut my hair is awesome, considering the other twits there want to do a wham bam thank you ma'am kind of job.

For you guys paying 20+ for a haircut...how often are you getting it done?

I've been using my clippers on my head for 10 years (since before I was in the Army, and still doing it after) and can't imagine paying more than $10 for a haircut.

I get a haircut about once a month. Usually right about 30$ after tip (if they aren't retarded and somehow eff up the back.

i pay 18 bucks and it's straight to him... forget the register... so it's an 18 dollar haircut with no tip or a free haircut with an 18 dollar tip...lol

my barber used to work at a place where it was pretty ghetto....lol

there's a few barber chairs in front and there's a whole bunch of 20+ inch rims in the back......

I had the same barber since I was a kid - and recently moved. It amazing what you take for granted.

Someone here suggested I go to supercuts and ask for this one girl. She does an amazing job and knows how to chat. $15 bucks for the cut, $5 for the conversations (the breasts in the ear/face are free). I'm a fan.

I get my hair cut bi monthly here. The Barber shop here is filled with homosexual Indians. Jesus, some of them make me uncomfortable. I swear the last guy set his **** on my arm. Kinda reminded me of "You dont mess with the Zohan"

But roughly 2 bucks, since any hair cut is 4.50.
