Yep all sorted out. There is a pigtail connector inside the tank assembly that was putting just enough downward pressure from the weight of it to loosen the ground wire

Yep all sorted out. There is a pigtail connector inside the tank assembly that was putting just enough downward pressure from the weight of it to loosen the ground wire connection right above it.
Soldered a new fitting in the ground wire so nice and tight and made it so the weight of the plastic connector was no longer bearing in it and she's good to go. Thank god... wasn't sure where I would start troubleshooting next if that didn't work lol |
