Yes, this is online. There is a bunch of apartments you can purchase. Your buddies can come over and hang out while you figure out what you want to do. Plus you can get away from the people spawning tanks and attack 'copters. The fun part is that you can see other players from your apartment window. Every once and a while a player will crash a plane into the building or go sailing by with a parachute.

Oh yeah they can kill you and they do, often If you have more than $5k on your player, they can jack it from you, unless you deposit in the bank via atm or your phone banking app.

Nah man, online mode starts with lamar greeting you at the airport. You start off with a little bit of cash. If you were part of the PCMR we could hook you up with some sweet jobs/heists.
There is actual heists you can do for some really good $, if you have decent players with you.
