I finally bought a new dishwasher, too. KitchenAid - it has a window in the door

It is a newish model and was 30% off for President's Day sale, so of course it was out of stock. Hoping for delivery by mid-March

Does the rack have metal hardware or plastic? Our kitchenaid dishwasher has plastic and it is considered a "wear item" and needs to be replaced every year

The plastic gets brittle and breaks, all the damn time.

If u buy da GE like me da entire dishwasher is a wear item and must be replaced in one yr!

I assume you are referring to the plastic retainers for the wheels on the top rack? If so, then nope. This one has a newer design with bearings. Smoothest, sturdiest top rack I've ever seen. Even fully loaded it's supposed to feel really sturdy

so IF i have any energy left, im going to wash my wife's Fit and swap back to factory wheels. i need to get da wheels out of da garage before i can work on my Z..

l mean i have room to move around in, but not a fan of having only 10inches between bumper and tire

and get dem Fit's fugly snows washed and out of my site
