Where did you get your bottle from? And you got the polymer sealant stuff. Not the wax?

bought it directly from prima car care. prima does not sell wax products, i dont think. they are all polymer based.

Leingod 10-05-2016 07:30 AM

Ahhh, my mistake. Was looking at a different item on Auto geek. Going to order a spray bottle of the hydro max from prima.

make sure you get some rubbing alcohol from ur local supermarket too. ull want to wash the car, clay as needed, den wipe down panel by panel using rubbing alcohol, then apply hydro max panel by panel for the best adhesion.

my wife's dd had hydro max applied once in spring, and i only had to really 'wash' the car once this whole frikken summer. strong rain just washed off most of the gunk clean enough for most folks.

Leingod 10-05-2016 07:51 AM

What does the rubbing alcohol do exactly?

njobe89 10-05-2016 07:57 AM

starbucks and jalapeno beef jerky in hand. i have a feeling this combo won't be too good on my rear side lol

happy friday :D

It is critical to proper adhesion of the polymers in the sealant.

Removes all oils, wax, and sealant on the panels. And unlike Griots paint prep, u don't need to rinse the car.

These are flatstoppers to an extent. They cradle the wheel. I'll test them out and upload some photos when I get them.
