yah, tune and tires. the tires vw gave me are pretty sad. and im going wider and run golf-r size which are 235/40/18. the stockers on the GTI are 225/40/18 and the sidewallz are too short for my area. dis was another reason why i wanted to da tune to compensate for the 4mm taller size wall.

Thats one of the reasons that my Z dont have tints hahaha! I will like to install tints on my Z but damn I want to find the best of the best shops here to doit...

i completely agree on da tint i have no plans to do my Z. i too did not want to risk messing up my Z's appearance as nissan uses those gradient dots around the perimeter of the glass near the seals. adhesive doesnt stick to it so unless the tint guy uses some kind of jelly to fake the adhesion u got like these imperfection lines around the glass. looks like shittt imho.

the sad part is dat my tint guy did the gradient dot area on my GTI fine, but it's like right above the rear wiper in the flat spot he got like 5 little dots. so my first thought was, he had painus.

yah, im going to run dws06 which are the tires i run on my STI in the winter so should do quite well.

yah this is just a piggyback so a ots tune. it does allow for custom tunes if one desires. i dont desire. i desire simplicity.

i dont want to go crazy on this car. the GTI has been severely detuned for the US market for some reason, so i just want to get back the power the vw folks originally intended to churn out of its engine.

i want a sleeper. if i wanted a flashy car i wouldve just kept my G
