Whoa, been incognito for awhile but you're considering an AT vehicle?

But in all seriousness, my pick is GTI. My good friend had a 2 door mk6 gti MT with an APR stage 1 tune and it was a fun little car. Now he has a 4dr mk7 Golf R with the DSG. He likes it but misses the MT from time to time. DSG or MT I think the GTI will be a fun daily.

The LA area.

Flying home would be brutal with the time change. I have always preferred the reverse and gaining time on the way home.
