Thanks :)

Zspeed v2 has a decent opening from what I hear.

ChaseZ 07-20-2016 01:08 PM

That's how I interpreted it, but doesn't specifically say. Probably what I'll end up going with anyways

I have an older Zspeed v1 and when I get an oil change they end up just taking the shield off as the opening is a little to small. Maybe Jar will know better, I think he had one and is in the process of acquiring another one.

Shotty, that's what I want to get away from having to take it off. Looking at the pics the opening in v2 does look a little bigger, but some information one way or the other would be appreciated.

I just posted up in your thread, Chase. I've actually done several oil changes on other local Z's with the undershroud. Even the V2 is a smallish opening for my tastes. I just remove the whole thing. Good chance to check for anything that might have been dropped in the engine bay as well as check for any leaking fluids. I'm also OCD and clean it up thoroughly.

onzedge™ Travel Tip #84

Unless you are a citizen of Bermuda, a sport coat with dress shirt and shorts is a dumb look.

Thanks for confirming.

Think I'll just go with the v2 in brushed aluminum. Nice clean look

I hate allen wrenches except for very specific circumstances. I like using torx bits for the throttle body removal. Less chance of rounding the heads

So sicne my STM exhaust as settled in, i am noticing way more gargles, pops, and stuff on downshifts. I am happy. Wicked low below 3k and racecar sounding from 4-6k. I only wish it would stop making an almost wind tunnel noise at specific RPM's in certain gears. And the damn hatch vibrations get annoying also.

The last thing I ever thought I'd have ordered were GTR dome light covers and LED's..

But the Zstore has free shipping this week if you spend $100 so by padding my order with them I actually got them for free and saved some on shipping. Free is my favourite price :)
