Citation Not Found. Need legitimate Advice.
Hey guys,
I got a "failure to stop" citation on 9/20/09. I didn't do anything until today. I called the court via their automated citation search system. I also went online and searched for my citation. Both of those methods resulted in a "citation not found". What are the chances that this sort of a thing can happen and if it did, how could it have happened? i.e. officer lost my ticket and couldn't turn it in to the station? Sorry I just don't want to end up being happy and do nothing and later get bit in the behind even harder by having missed a court date. Thanks guys. Tim |
