I went back and forth about what to use for the sides of the car. I think this rig and I am going to mount a single, maybe double fluorescent bulb fixture to my detailing cart so I can roll it around :tup:

yah, LED's have been evolving so maybe they have higher power ones now. :tup:

the flourscent one was like 2x the brightness of the highest power LED sold on amazon when i bought mine.

My boss at work said he will bring in a LED tube and fixture for me to check out, he ordered 12 after he saw how much brighter they were than the T8's he had in his basement. no idea what spectrum t8 bulbs he had.

also works well as flame thrower. :ugh:

:tup: LED's get dimmer as they age too.. :ugh: the 2 led's i have in my music room ceiling cans are much dimmer than original.

and i thought LED's would run cooler, but they get hot as hell :icon17: lol

I moved the Z to the attached garage, scares me with people walking all around and getting in and out of the other vehicles. Starting to rain so I dont want to move it back to its home :icon17:

for flashlights, i luv LED's. this cheapo $5 flashlight i bought on amazon is amazingly bright. just one AA too.

I didnt ask what he paid. He said he will sell me 6 of them if I like em. When I find out the cost I will give you a shout. :tup:

The t8 fixtures in the picture were ~$50 on amazon, $40 for a 10 pack of the bulbs.

if you get a single led one it's not harsh at all.

people run those stupid bright ones and that's when things start to get :eekdance:

Prime is well worth it. Doesn't hurt I renew my .EDU email each year to get it for $50 also.

And they begin to turn yellow. The brand new ones now though at least actually run cooler than the originals.
