The short tails bolt up to the existing midpipe as well as the aam midpipe.
If you are running HFC's or TP's you will be fine running short tails. It will be very loud however.. There is a muffled version of the short tails now available but its ridiculously priced. Best bet is to buy short tails used and then see how loud the HFCs are with the short tails.. Then you can always go in and add resonators to make it a little quieter
