Are you talking about a cold air intake or a short ram air intake? The cold air provide about 6-12 more horsepower and the short rams get around 4-8. No big gains and you wont notice anything with the butt dyno but they do provide some engine roar. Pros and cons on either one but you buy what you like.

In all seriousness everyone says the Stillen is the best, but it's $500 and I think you still have to cut stuff. Cost to HP ratio your best bet is a set of K&N drop-ins and the post-MAF smooth tubes (~$180 all together and within a few HP of a full CAI)

If you are getting tuned and trying to maximize HP you can acheive I would look at the Takeda Stage II CAI. Since you do not want to cut anything. However if you would cut the support in the same fashion as you have to with the Stillen G3's then you would have fully unrestricted airflow. As the silicone tubes are smashed by the support otherwise. I believe this is Top Speed's secret mod to this particular intake in their bid to maxmize power from all the mods.

But if you are not trying to get the best numbers you can possibly get on a dyno/paper. Then it is a personal choice. Do you want some bling under the hood go with whichever CAI you like. Or just do the drop ins and/or smooth tubes.
Trips, ANMVQ and tiger123 like this.

i like the k&n typhoon cheap on amazon and give better "gains" than most. But honestly unless you plan on getting full exhaust and intake AND then a tune. just get the one you like the best. Because +-5hp is not going to make any difference you can notice anyway.

FYI, on the stillen G3 you only "cut" two composite plastic pieces. It is hardly "cutting up the car". Heck, you could not tell on mine unless I pointed it out with the nose off.
