Default K&N Typhoon to CAI

I bought my car with the K&N Typhoon installed, however I was unhappy with the performance loss when it heat soaks especially now that it's hotter. I didn't want to shell out $500+ for a Stillen so I modified the existing K&N to a true CAI. I flipped the K&N piping around, so now the 3" side is facing the front of the car. A few additional piping and couplers and voila.

7speed and megalapagas like this.

They are like inline catch cans for my pcv. I clean them every 3000 miles with brake cleaners and replace with new ones every 10k miles. They are 2.50 a piece at oreilly and works for every car I use them in. They do a good job at filtering the oil condensation coming out of the crankcase.

You I know I work there and MAAANN what a SWEET IDEA! What part# is it and from what to where to connect on both side of fuel filter? Btw how is it going to breathe without the connection to the PCV?? Also what benefits/losses have you noticed in performance?
