ok, i'll try a different ecu reset.....i couldnt do the non start up/non disconnect procedure....timing is hard to get

Is there a way to reset the ECU other than pulling off the battery cable?

yes there is an ecu reset with disconnecting battery, i will be testing some procedures tomorrow if i can get them to work.

right now it's late

Is the G and the Z the same? I haven't bothered to look in the owner's manual if it's there.

Yeah reading throught that thread is appears that it takes a while to get the hang of it. I'll be sure to reset before the dyno.
