The intro Group Buy pre order will start exactly a month before we get our first batch. The intro pricing will be given to our vendors as the date nears.

As for sound clip, Other than the ARK team there is only one other person on the board who heard it first hand. We will put up a sound clip as soon as we possibly can.

Trust me the exhaust note is one of the best I've ever heard :). These guys seem to know what they're doing when it comes to manufacturing and constructing their products. Plus they have excellent customer service and they're very friendly people.

TeamArk do you have a price range that these will be available for? I know exact pricing is not out yet but if you had to give us a ball park figure say like $1200 or $1500 or $2000 wat can we expect to pay?

my Tiburon ARK coast me around $700, so I think $1200-1500 would be a good guess given that this is a true dual exhaust. That ARK was the only exhaust I've ever bought tho so I'm not that experienced with pricing. However it would be competitive with other offerings

they need to hurry up or I will be going to FI for my exhaust... FI is almost caught up on their orders from what I can tell but this is a thing of beauty and I would really like to have something a lil different than everyone else. hmmmm tough decisions!

im kinda confused.... you guys designed the prototype here and you ship it off to be mass produced in Korea?

Our main manufacturing facility is based in Korea. We do the renderings here and send it over the Korea and they come out with the prototype. Once we tried on the prototype and see that everything is perfect, we give the OK for production.

Sounds real nice. I wonder how much different prototype 1 sounds from this.

So what's with the deal for the canister above the muffler that goes no where?

Its a resonator/back pressure tube from what I understand...helps the low end torque...

ARK...Could you please describe the principles behind the dead leg muffler.

I believe that "dead leg muffler" is to help muffle the sound more. If you notice, the main canister type mufflers are smaller than some of the other exhausts out there. I believe they designed this with clearance in mind.

If you look at the FI mufflers, they're much bigger and therefore, you have more of a clearance problem. Now, I can't say how severe the clearance is with the FI....whether or not it effects you as a daily driver but it's substantially lower than stock....and ARK's, I assume. Of course, one's ride height plays a factor in this as well.

But.....I could be wrong. So hopefully someone from ARK can better answer your question.

Was thinking it was either to help eliminate the low frquency that causes boom and drone or to help quieten the system. Wonder if this introduces turbulence and reduces the efficiency of the exhaust???

ARK do you have a baseline to compare this to?

We are getting that baseline for everyone shortly. I had to G37 with the exhaust on and was able to get a quick dyno in at MD automotive. We have some videos to prove that this dyno is based off the stock engine with nothing but the exhaust.

Pricing will be up and given out to exclusive 370z vendors. The Type 1 Exhaust will land within 5 days. Once the fitting stage is complete, we will do some dyno testing. Videos, baseline and gains will be provided asap.

This process will be the same once our type 2 exhaust comes in.

Can you tell us the differences between the three exhausts you are producing?

You can take a look at Page 1 and take a look at the designs between the two systems.

1. Design of the exhaust
2. Exhaust tone.
3. type 2 incorporates our signature x-pipe
4. Type 1 is a True Dual Header Back system.

It seems like some other companies are jumping onto our design as well. I dont think their quality can match with ours. :tup:

the first one (type 1) will be quieter is my guess...

^^ Yeah, after comparing the two dB test videos, the Proto# 2 is a little bit louder.

we will be doing some side by side comparisons hopefully in the very near future

Got our final exhaust design in. Pictures will be taken today. Too bad its cloudy today, could have used some sunlight in our warehouse.
