I'm dissappointed in the Stillen Gen 2 fit, so I am waiting to see what the R2C will deliver on a 370Z. They are finishing the 370Z intake evaluation on Monday...

Should I really tell them the truth? ;)
I had a -2HP result, currently things are in the works with Takeda to find out what is going on. Hoping for some new information maybe in the next few weeks, stay tune.

Well there are a few things going on, depending on how this next thing goes soon will determine what I push for. I am giving them some time to "work" on them and maybe find a solution.

frost 09-12-2009 02:17 PM

What ideas do they have?

They have talked about working on some heat shields (like stock or maybe those R2C), they might re-do the tubes completely if that is the problem. I would love to just return them to Lou at Amplified for a full refund and by Injen, but he would end up with a used item that he probably could never sell. My hope is that Takeda stands up and buys them back at full price (I paid) so it does not put Lou in a bad spot.

They are taking Amplified's 370z and going to throw on the Takedas this week I believe to do the testing and make a decision on what to do.

frost 09-12-2009 02:21 PM

Would love to hear how that goes.

hmmm...i would like to see the final decission on this as well...heat shields is what these things really need...i think the tubes are pretty fat actually so not sure how they could improve on them...

He's mad about the picture, and that I was pulling on his mohawk. He said it seemed degrading to him as a person.

nogoodname 09-12-2009 02:35 PM

stupid pic......lol

it's all lies i tell ya... lies

theDreamer 09-12-2009 02:37 PM

Not sure what they plan to do for those who bought the system already, it will all come down to what they redo with the intakes, if they redo anything. They could put Lou's 370z on the dyno and see a gain of 7 and say it is fine, at that point they are giving me my money back (Takeda).

That's pretty generous of you since I'm sure their profit margin is greater than that.

nogoodname 09-12-2009 02:41 PM

they should pay for theDreamers dyno run and intake

theDreamer 09-12-2009 02:45 PM

Thanks nogood, I would rather have a full refund and be able to buy Injen or Stillen than a half refund and keep the intakes.

nogoodname 09-12-2009 02:48 PM
