The type 2 exhaust (which is what's available now if you purchase new) is negligably lower than the factory exhaust. Like maybe an inch if that? Someone probably knows exactly what it is.

I would have zero reservations about it even if you're slammed because other alternatives offer less clearance. Ark sits lower (from my personal experience - I run FI now) and the Ark was just fine clearance wise for me. I have always been at stock ride height btw.

Only thing is, no matter what, don't go hauling *** over speed bumps. Guaranteed regret.

The type 2 he is referring to is the revision that was made early on in the design of the exhaust to effectively raise the cans up so they are not much lower than the factory exhaust. What you see on the site is the version 2. Lowered on Swift springs I have about 4 inches of clearance at the lowest point of the cans. So make that about 5 inches at stock height. The way the cans are positioned they are near the rear axle so as long as you arent trying to jump speed bumps and take them slow and at an angle if lowered you will be fine.

It's that damned exclamation mark (!) on the subject line. It should have been a question mark (?) instead. Being #808 with a month and a half more to wait, I almost had a heart attack.

As long as the exhaust is installed properly the front of the mufflers sit no lower than the lowest point of the stock exhaust. The lowest point of the stock exhaust are the two mufflers tubes trailing into the stock rear muffler. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you, Tony
