The type 2 he is referring to is the revision that was made early on in the design of the exhaust to effectively raise the cans up so they are not much lower than the factory exhaust. What you see on the site is the version 2. Lowered on Swift springs I have about 4 inches of clearance at the lowest point of the cans. So make that about 5 inches at stock height. The way the cans are positioned they are near the rear axle so as long as you arent trying to jump speed bumps and take them slow and at an angle if lowered you will be fine.
