Dude when you do we need to meet up. Also you gonna throw it on the dyno at intec? $65 for 2 power pulls. I am pretty sure they will let you do a before dyno then come back later for a after. Has yours been tuned yet? I dont remember if you mentioned that when I met you at the show at Evergreen? I am also curious if there are any more gains to net with a tune?

No tune that will be after I put on the M370 but my base was 296 at Illtech they have a stingy dyno they said. Now I have the genIII's and the new mid pipe I'm hopping to be high teens 319ish then with the M370 and a tune 330-340 hopefully. But yeah I will just let Lawrence know what I'm doing he should be ok with it.

Stock base midpipe ?? I'll weigh this tomorrow since I know we have one laying around in the shop

I was actually very shock at how light the H-pipe portion was on the stock Nismo.

There would be more interest if it wasn't priced as much as a cat-back

It really comes down to the build. If we can get the price down to $725 then I think its expensive, but its worth it.

The difference between AAM and going to your local muffler shop and having them custom pipe 2.5" back is that they have great quality that no one has yet to have a problem with.. I have heard of almost every other exhaust company have problems. AAM is an exception.

One of the most expensive exhaust is Fast Intentions at $1280 or so shipped---
AAM Mid-pipe $899+Short Tails $400= $1299 before shipping...

Also, for $1300...we will still have the drone.

Illtech? Did you mean intec in kent or did you really mean to type Illtech in bellevue?

No I meant Illtech in Bellevue that's where I got my first dyno at. My future dynod will be at Intech because I plan on hopefully doing my tune with a little bit of VVEL tunning after I put the M370 and I wanna find some bigger TB's to use and then get a tune.

849 + 398 (for your more least expensive variation of the short tail) = $1247

I'm offering a $150 discount for those who buy it as a complete catback, so it would be $1097

Not sure how many US made/handcrafted catbacks you'll find for that price. If you want cheap, there is cheap but AAM Competition does not qualify to be compared in that same category

Next time we meet in person I can go in more depth. You should google their name and see what pops up on forums. They had their shop cars up for sale a couple years back and then moved to bellevue from tacoma. I have a good idea why they did. Based on just alot of forum talk and 2 good friends cars that were worked on. I was at a dealership that had a EVO that had their sticker on it half removed, was fairly large. Told the salesman he needed to finish removing that sticker, would have a better chance selling in tacoma. He asked why and also stated several people that were walking the lot in the last week before I was mentioned the same thing. Didnt go into details with him. Have you been to speedware? They are up on your side of town.

But I am stoked you are getting this and local too. You got the Gen3's too, so I am curious how it will turn out numbers wise.

Well it looks like there builds are going good now that they moved. But my friend was good friends with Cody and he kind of helped him open the new location.
So he had me come up for a good priced dyno run that's all. I do all my own work so far. I have always went to Intech for my tunes even ten yrs ago when I was the only guy to have a EF with a type R in it.
But back on topic I'm a south end guy like 10 from u. So no I have not been to speedware yet but someday. Also yes I can't wait either it should be here on Friday it says. I should be 310-320 I think somewhere in there.

Interested, but cost is, as others noted, prohibitive...

Very interested if JUST the H pipe is offered and found to make gains on otherwise OEM Nismo exhaust.
