A socket wrench, a hand saw (if cutting is required), some break free lube (for removing pesky bolts, lubing hangers, etc.), and a little elbow grease is all thats required. You wouldnt believe how much you can save by taking a little time outta your day.

If you have the tools and a safe workspace, sure. But many people don't have access to a garage or otherwise don't trust themselves enough to do it.
