honestly i havent heard any. the only sort of "rasp" i hear around that rpm range is from the exhaust vibration really. that itself isnt much at all. its just raw, loud, and effing mean sounding. makes my Z sound like it should lol.

like i said before though i keep getting mistaken for being boosted from the F.I. hiss when i let off at low speed like pullin up to a redlight or stop sign lol

hopefully i'll have some time after work today i'll try and get a decent video on my new iPhone and see how it sounds. worst case i may have to go get the nice sony handycam and see if it takes any better quality sound then my phone.

Cwis you may have to help me with the whole video embedding thing i've never had to do that on here yet.

I do this purposely when idiots in hondas and RSX's and SRT4's pull up next to me. I had an SRT4 follow me on the way home last night for a bit, then he roared up beside me, I never even acknowledged his presence, then he dropped back, listened for a bit and popped through two gears to let the bov make it's presence known, to where I just downshifted and let off the gas. To which there was a nice loud hiss followed by the DSM revving to the next gear. He politely drove on his way... Idiot wanted to mess with me on a public road at night up hill... Stupid kids and their cheap power...

hahaha i did the same to a 90's boosted civic on my way home yesterday. when i downshifted his eyes popped open in shock. then i smoked him off the line at the following redlight when he thought his 4-banger could hold up. thats 3 boosted civics i've beat so far. only one to get me had 450 whp and drag radials on it and he my front tires were at the back of his door at the line at 1/8 mile. give me a quarter and hes done

a cheap route for good audio/video quality is the flip ultra hd! i use it all the time for concerts and everything, works great. i just bought a gopro this weekend, to be honest im very disappointed and the sound sucks balls. i'm gonna be returning it next weekend.

I have the non res cbe but cnt hfc's and the cats are causing me some rasp around 3k-4k rpm and I'm ready to change to the resonated tp's. Haha the hiss is good sometimes, gives people that wtf look on their faces.

i took an extra careful listen on my dfrive home last nite and from 3-4K rpm i hear nothing but beatiful exhaust tones. only "off" sound i get is that vibration i was talking about at around 2500-3000 rpm and its not bad at all.

Might wanna edit this posts cause 'spirited driving' on the street is forbidden...

Have you checked to make sure every bolt was tightened down, and that under the car the pipes aren't too close to a frame support? If you can get it on a lift and check when the pipes are warm to make sure there is enough clearance...

haha well besides the one at the red light the others were at a flashlight drags event i happened to stumble upon 2 weeks ago so it was actually all legal and legit.

i checked the bolts after i put 200 miles on the set up they were all good. im bout to check again now that already almost have 900 miles on it lol its not like a bad sound or vibration i think its just the way it is.

It could be something that has nothing to do with the exhaust itself, just some part that isn't tight that rattles due to you Non-Res f00l's
