Ok guys, I uploaded my pics showing how the system was received in its packaging to final installation. The Demon Bolt on the driver's side lived up to its name. No Cheater Bar or Impact Wrench could budge it more than a couple of threads and then it just seized up solid on us. Two hours later after we pretty much stripped out the head trying conventional methods, I had to run out to a nearby auto parts place and purchase a $30 Bolt Extractor set. The bolt gave up after that and the installation proceeded without a hitch... :happydance: :driving:

Sounds about right... except I would HIGHLY recommend a set of Bolt Extractors right from the start... that bolt had no chance once the extractor bit into it. :gtfo2: It turned ...

Heh... don't feel too bad - it took us 2.5 hours almost ourselves before we thought of it! So, for all you newbies out there about to embark on this mission - take heed! :icon14: :bowrofl:

yes i agree. i wish i had a forewarning that those bolts were made of unobtainium mixed with adamantium. so yes newcomers be ready that some of the bolts on the stock cats may take you some time to get off but it is sooooo worth it once you do. i got over 3k miles on my TP and CBE and i havent stopped smiling since.

thank you Tony and F.I.

Installed my 12" TDX yesterday!!! Thanks Tony!!!

Love the sound! Real throaty & powerful. Its a little too loud for my liking under 3k rpm. Does it quite down a bit once it breaks in more??? As of now I have about 85 miles on it.

If not, does anyone want to trade out an 18" resonator for 12"???

I don't know long it takes or how much it will quiet down, but it will get quieter after break-in. I'd say give it some time and see what you think.

Also, you need to update your sig.
