If you have a moderate drop, I don't see how you would scrape the "sh1t" out of the cans. With my drop, I find there is plenty of clearance and as long as you don't drive over speed bumps or curbs at 15mph, don't see the problem. That said, there is some space to angle the cans up more to increase ground clearance.

I scraped the exhaust when I had 30 thick tires instead of stock 45.

Oh, I didn't think about lower profile tires. The guy who owned my FI exhaust prior was slammed on coilovers and he scratched it once (pretty minor).

I've scraped already on stock height but I don't even know when it happened. Either way you just need to be more careful, especially if you're lowered. Even stock height, I think you just need to avoid speed bumps and inclines all together. Normal roads and driveways shouldn't be an issue though even if you're lowered slightly.

Newbie here... Mode I can do easily w/ HP gain is a new exhaust.
I really like the sound of FI and Ark , but leaning toward FI because of the price, I will keep my stock Intake ,the only concern I have is clearance but Tony says it shouldn't be a problem. My question is... Should I go for Non-resonated or 12" or 18" Resonator? I don't like loud exhaust though. Thanks for the Help guys :driving: |
