Any issues with the HFC's and the CEL coming on? I have read that even the Berk's with their setup do this. Wondering if FI found a way around it with the U-shaped bung.

I had my FI HFC installed for 2 months without a CEL. I now have GTM Res. test pipes with the same style U-shaped bend for a few weeks without a CEL. I think the U-bend really does a better job of preventing the CELs as opposed to Berks extended bung.

Any updates? Tony you gonna get my exhaust here before Long Island blows away from this Hurricane. And if so will the shipping cost be more? LOL

Depends on how far away you blow. May have to be international shipping...:roflpuke2:

Red6spd, the solution is obviously that Tony should ship my exhaust first (we're supposed to be safe here in PA), just to make sure that Earl is out to sea and Long Island is safe;)

As long as the installation is done correctly you will not get a CEL with our HFC's.

Hay Tony this goes for the Test Pipes as well correct??

ZRoland 09-01-2010 08:47 PM

Ok, finished the install a few minutes ago of my HFC, 18" res, cat-back exhaust. All I can say is WOW that is music to my ears. Took it for a test drive and seems the ECU has to relearn as large throttle lag in the begining but as I drove on it started to improve. OK, guys how long did it take your cars to have better response?
At WOT the power is incredible, quite different than the stock exhaust and the sound is excellent.
Installation, more trouble taking the stock cats out but after that everything went reall smooth. Only mod I might do is add a washer on the rear hanger. Tips are to close to the rear valence.

Tony, thanks for the excellent system. Keep up the good work and quality.

To all owners of verts the sound with the top-down is very nice and pleasant. Not to loud inside the car and the 18" reson are just right. Keep those heads turning as I passed by people.
