I see a few people had an install last couple days and it sounds like everyone was extemely happy with the decision they made! I am at the shop right now getting my 18 cbe and test pipes installed :) can't wait till I get to hear/feel the finished product!

Ok I've had my exhaust on for 3 days now so I gotta say this. I HATE IT!

I hate how this exhaust forces me to shift at 5k+ RPM just to hear the sweet sweet sound and ruin my gas mileage! :)

give it a little time to breakin and it'll be a little more civilized...rowr

Just had it installed a couple hours ago. I gotta say the sound is deeper than I expected and the 12" res aren't really that loud but once you get on the throttle, it's fun times haha

LOL I got the whole set up

Yeah, I have a feeling I will be going with the long tube headers instead of the hfc down the road. :stirthepot:

On another thread I got told that the fi cbe won't fit properly with the evo-r rear diffuser :(

Has anyone got this combo and have any issues/advice?

dlmartin81 05-23-2010 09:47 AM

Majestik - I see you have the RHFCs listed in your sig. Do you already have them installed or are they on order? I'm kind of on the fence on where to get them or not.

Sorry for the lack of update! After I got home I had a lot of things to do and people were coming over so no time to jump back on and give anyone an update! So I got the 18" CF CBE w/ non-resonated test pipes. I am very pleased with how everything came out. It is loud but sounds good doing it. when it needs to be, it can also be quieter. I definitely have no problem talking to people in the car or even on the blue tooth through the speakers. I do notice that hiss after you let off the gas but it doesn't really bother me. I can actually feel a power increase and I absolutely love it. I find it hard to stay off the gas right now, and downshifting is such a sweet sound to hear. I left my camera in my car so the only pics I got of the install was with my Iphone and I am going to try to put some of those pics up there. Maybe later today I am going to try to go out and take some videos and pics if I can. Overall Tony I am very pleased with the product and I am extremely happy! It was funny because when I went to the shop to get it installed they had heard of FI but not really heard a system yet, or atleast not on a 370. After the install the owner came up to me and said that he was really impressed with FI overall sound, design and craftsmanship. He didn't know it was going to sound that good and he loved the way it looked on the car as well. Hopefully like I said some videos later!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

That carbon fibre is pretty sexy... I'm a little bit tempted to modify my order.

I gotta get a real cam but here's a pic from my phone. The carbon fiber makes the exhaust very subtle looking.
