Just got the non-resonated test pipes and non-resonated cat back installed. My God its loud and I love it! The mechanic that done the install was impressed with the welds and the attention to detail like polishing the welds down smooth just inside the flanges. Impressed! Money well spent! Now I need to get an oil cooler because I can tell I will be driving it harder than ever. My oil temp got just a bit past 260 earlier for the first time and its only 50 degrees outside and I'm sure it will only get worse as it gets warmer.

Mine was just delivered this morning. I am gonna go back to work tonight and install it!

Yo Tony any update on my exhaust?? #89... Can't wait mannnnn

6spd 03-04-2010 09:56 PM

I just installed mine! Wow, what an amazing piece I must say. The workmanship is the best I've ever seen, and I've seen a ****-ton of exhausts. I had high expectations for this exhaust after talking to Tony and reading things here on the boards. This met my expectations for sure and is exactly what I was looking for. I was "-" <this close to buying a nismo exhaust, what at the time I expected to suit me best, but I couldn't go through with it knowing what high quality this FI exhaust is. Sounds just like everyone else explains, install was cake, and the finish is spectacular. Highly recommended! Thank you Tony for putting such great effort into this product. It shows that people still do care about the quality of the product/service they provide!

BTW, if you need to shim the hanger bracket, shim only the two inner bolts and not the outer. Tighten the two inners down and then gradually tighten the outer bolt and it will raise or lower the tip, allowing for better aligning. This way uses leverage to fine tune the position.

All is well that ends well, right!

I am pleased to hear that it is installed and rolling smooth. As I always say, it is nice to see another satisfied customer. Do not hesitate to ask if you need anything...

Thanks, Tony

It can, you really need to build a reputation with your dealer. If the service department likes you they can do a lot of things for you, including honering your warranty.

I think your best bet (minus a friendly dealer) is to keep your stock parts and put them back on when it comes time for service, etc.

pbpd4816 03-05-2010 07:26 PM

The dealership cannot void your warranty simply for the sake of having an intake installed. If something goes wrong with the car and they can PROVE that the intake caused the problem, then they can deny your claim.

Or more specifically (and in legal terms):

Magnunson-Moss Warranty Act - Aftermarket Parts

A busy evening indeed...
