Congrats Tony, not surprised at all of the success of this system. Thats what happens when you combine amazing customer service, competitive pricing, and a well-built CBE system that sounds amazing and performs great. Cant wait to get mine!

^^ Hey man, where in Philly are you?

Congrats on hitting the 200 mark Tony, and congrats on the wedding. I'm glad to be a part of that 200. I dont think I have ever had such nice customer service when it came to ordering something. I will be contacting you in the near future either for LTH's or Test Pipes you can count on that.

Congrats tony on achieving the landmark :)

Tony,
You can change my status to 370Z Roadster #1 installed! You were right, the sound is amazing in the roadster with the combination you suggested. Not too loud, zero drone, and an intoxicating roar while accelerating! I drove the car all afternoon yesterday with the stereo off, I may have to cancel my XM subscription! I will post some pics and some sound clips to this thread in the next few days. Thanks for the advice Tony, and to anyone thinking of buying a F.I exhaust and have any questions, don't hesitate to call Tony. Great customer service and honest advice. Congrats on your wedding BTW. Tony! Update the LTH list/status! lol

Tony, add me as installed to the list. Could have gone smoother but getting the stock exhaust proved to be a pain in the ***. There was one bolt that just would not budge. The sound of the exhaust was worth it in the end. Love the sound and even under nml driving I can feel there is some extra power. Have only done 2 hot/cold cycles so I haven't opened it up just yet.
Question though, I noticed after I got back from my drive that the passenger side exhaust tip sticks out past the bumper about 1cm where as the driver side tip is even with the bumper. When the car is cooled down the both recess a little which I understand is nml. Just wondering if there is a way to adj. the tips so they are even. I can post a pic if it would help. thanks |

Thanks Tony. I'm not too worried about it and honestly note sure it's worth taking it apart to put in another gasket. Can you give me a week to get used to it? If it's still bothering me I'll hit you up and see about getting another gasket. Thanks and the exhaust rocks. Can't wait to go drive today. |

Here is the video I did that was taken mostly from outside the car. It's really shaky though, but the sound is pretty accurate. I'm going to post up a full review tonight or tomorrow.

Sounds good man!!!
|
Thanks! Footage turned out pretty decent. I had my dad driving for most of that time, so he didn't really push it or use the paddles. I drove it for a few of the shots so people could hear what it sounds like when you downshift.

Yeah, there isn't any rasp, but there is a decent amount of hiss on decel. You can hear it a bit in the spot where it's stationary but revving a couple times. Not really a "problem" per say, but just something to get used to I guess.

Yeah, I've seen mention of it before, it doesn't really bother me, just sounds a bit weird hearing a noise come out of the exhaust when you aren't accelerating or maintaining speed. I actually kind of like it, heh.
The funny thing is I was really afraid that this combo would of produced a lot of drone for me at highway speeds since I'm on the 7AT, but at about 70MPH it sounds no louder than stock, and at 80MPH it only sounds slightly louder, so that's cool. I was also kind of worried that this combo would of just been to loud for me in general, but actually I definitely could of gone a bit louder (12" Resonators maybe?). Just goes to show you how subjective it is. |

When I get my daily driver situation sorted out and can retire the Z to weekend fun, I think I might look to add HFCs. |
After seeing that video it makes me even more excited to get mine!!

Got my leak fixed, sounds amazing! Thanks Tony.
