I am going to have the exhaust same setup. I already have the Berk HFCs sitting in my garage.

F.I. Do you have a picture of what the Carbon Fiber Muffler version looks like close up? Also, can you PM me a price for the exhaust system with the CF mufflers and 18" resonators? Thanks!

Just so all of you know, this is our Evo X Carbon Fiber cat back. I am currently showing it, to give you an example of what the Carbon Fiber mufflers look like.

This is what is etched in the top of the tips.

IMO, the non resonated test pipes did introduce a little rasp down the road which I didn't like, and became (police magnet) loud lol. That was why I fitted resonaters in them later on.

It is a different story with HFC's though, I'd say it has to do with it becoming very loud and not a rasp issue.

Wow, thanks for the prompt response. That answered that completely. I was wondering if it would change the pitch at all but if it just gets deeper, then great! You can't go wrong with that. I think a lot of people will run HFCs so thats a good bit of info right there.

On a side note, does anyone have some close up shots with the CF can?

What size are the resonators in the video? 12" ?

I think I'd want to go with HFCs in the future, but I'm not 100% sure... so I wouldn't know which exhaust I should order...

12" in the video.

As an option, if you wanted to you could buy the system now with 18" resonators.

Then if you decide down the road to install high flow cats and you feel the system is too quiet, all you need to do is purchase is the center X Pipe section with the smaller resonators. I know, I know, it is more money however it just gives you options. Feel free to call me if you like...

Thanks Tony. I think I'm just going to give it some time for members to put up videos so I can identify my ideal setup. I probably will not be doing anymore mods to the car until the September time-frame (my Birthday... therefore the SO is more inclined to let me do stuff I want to do

).
