ARK PERFORMANCE INC: DTS True Dual Exhaust Product Release

Just a few questions. Will this fit on a 2013 370? Are there any sound level differences between the DTS and Grip? And which of the two sits lower(just wondering if there will be any problems scraping with either one). Thanks!

I dont think there were any major changes to the underbody for the Z. So we feel that it is compatible. Once we get a local 2013 in, we will provide a final confirm on this.

The GRiP and DTS both have very good clearances. Nearly the same. THe DTS holds a deeper tone than the GRiP. Both have drone reducing characteristics along with our signature enhanced VQ tone

thanks! yeah i saw that and the dts is sitting in my room now lol waiting on my car to be released from the dealer... transmission issues have yet to be fixed... cant wait to install

Does anyone have the access or ability to get some interior videos of this exhaust? I was initially considering FI, Ark GRiP, and Ark DT-S. Drone concerns have directed me more towards the two Ark exhausts. However, videos of these two exhausts are pretty scarce.

If no videos, what are the characteristics between the two exhausts from the interior. I can guesstimate the exterior differences from the available videos - the DT-S does seem to hold a lower, more aggressive note, both on heavy acceleration and just cruising. Comparatively speaking, What does the DT-S sound like from my (the driver's) perspective? Louder than GRiP, than stock? By how much? Can you really get a true feel for this exhaust sounds from inside the car, or is it just a different "noise" with all the uniqueness heard from the outside lost on the inside?

I can make videos, my car is the one pictured, there is NO drone on this exhaust, it is a deeper tone than most exhausts and its not annoying at all. I think it is perfect, inside sounds good, you can still hear the deep sound.... but if you are looking for an insanely loud exhaust this won't be it. After about 2K miles or so exhaust sounded a tad louder which I liked.

I think this exhaust with test pipes will prob sound DAMN Good! I'm debating on test pipe or hfc....

Based on the decibel levels on Ark's website the DT-S is slightly louder than the GRiP at ~3000 rpm, right? Regardless, I'm not looking for crazy, all-the-time loud. To echo someone else on this forum, part of the reason we all get exhausts is so we can hear them. I don't want to shell out money solely for passer-by's enjoyment . . . I'd like to enjoy how the thing sounds, too.

I figure if I want it a skoche louder I can either throw on test pipes or hfc (as you eluded to) or take the resonators off like the Nismo in the video on page 2 apparently did . . . prolly not the latter.

From what it sounds like, though, it's still noticeably louder than the stock exhaust, correct?
