bolt on mods wont void the warranty unless they can prove that the specific modification caused the damage.....
For example you install an oil cooler, a fitting comes loose, draining all the oil while your on the highway, engine is toast, you are liable. If you are really scared, then when you have an issue, just swap your stock part back on before you visit the dealer.
